<title><![CDATA[Intelligent Energy Europe 2012 Call for Proposals - National Information Day]]></title>

<p>The European Union&rsquo;s Intelligent Energy &ndash; Europe II (IEE) Programme is now open for applications, with budget of &euro;67M to support up to 75% of the costs of eligible projects. To guide prospective applicants to this call for proposals, an information seminar will be held on 21st February 2012.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>The 2012 Intelligent Energy Europe call for Proposals seeks projects in the following areas:</p>
<p>- SAVE - Energy efficiency and rational use of resources.</p>
<p>- ALTENER &ndash; New and renewable energy resources.</p>
<p>- STEER - Energy-efficient transport.</p>

<p>Dr. Mazhar Bari is the co-founder and CEO of SolarPrint Ltd. He holds a PhD in Physics from the University of Cambridge (1996) and an MBA Smurfit School of Business, Dublin (2003). He holds patents in energy materials and devices. He is an expert in technology commercialisation and scaling. SolarPrint has raised 4M Euro to date and is currently shipping prototype product to customers. SolarPrint has made huge progress in turning our core printable dye sensitised solar cell (DSSC) technology into a leading energy harvesting product (to enable wireless sensors).</p>

<title><![CDATA[Smart Energy Solutions Partnering Event - International Business Opportunities at the Energy Show 2012]]></title>

<p style="text-align: justify">The <strong><a href="http://www.b2match.eu/greenb2benergyshow2012/">Smart Energy Solutions Partnering Event</a></strong> aims to bring together Irish and international companies to meet potential co-operation partners in one location over two days with a view to developing business links.&nbsp; This two day business partnering event is suited to innovative companies in the field of sustainable energy who are looking to trade or partner with international companies.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify">The Partnering Event takes place during the Energy Show 2012 which is the annual showcase for thousands of energy professionals who want to see the latest sustainable energy technologies and each year it grows in quantity and quality.&nbsp; The theme of the 2012 Show is &ldquo;Smart Energy Solutions&rdquo;, highlighting the diversity of energy efficient and renewable energy solutions which are now available to organisations throughout Ireland as we move towards a clean low carbon economy.&nbsp;</p>
