The company offers the solution for the structural and design flaws of e-scooters, which make them dangerous and less comfortable to ride compared to other means of transport, via a compact, robust and customizable backrest.
The backrest consists in a small cylinder which contains a retractable strap, with a comfortable cushion, that you can easily fasten around your waist. Since the mechanism is designed to retrieve automatically as you get closer to the pole, you can confidently lean back and relax. You can regulate the strap length on-the-go by simply pressing an easily accessible button on top of the cylinder, as you no longer need both hands to keep equilibrium.
The backrest can be mounted on any e-scooter stem/handlebar through its universal attachment system.
The device includes an instant release lever to unfasten the strap whenever needed.

This product is new to the market. There is no direct competitor or alternative right now. The only option provided by the market is a seat (attachable or integrated) ,which is strictly regulated in most EU countries, classifying e-scooters with seats as mopeds/motorbikes.
The invention not only works as a backrest but also enables the body as the center of balance, improving cornering and minimizing loss of control caused by sudden or involuntary movements.
