The European Commission this week approved EU LIFE funding worth €4 million for two Irish projects. T.E. Laboratories Ltd will receive funding for its LIFE EcoSens Aquamonitrix project to bring a new water quality monitoring device to the market. South Dublin County Council will meanwhile receive funding for its Urban Rivers LIFE project which aims to improve water quality in County Dublin and beyond. In total, 142 projects across Europe were this week approved for funding by LIFE, the EU's funding instrument for the environment and climate action.
