Two Galway SMEs have been selected for funding under the latest round of the SME Instrument. They will each receive €50,000 for feasibility studies plus free coaching and business acceleration services. Animated Language Learning was selected for its ALL project that uses animation to teach children diagnosed with autism while Pleanail Limited was selected for its Leanlab project. SME funding is divided into two phases: Phase 1 where SMEs can apply for funding of €50,000 for feasibility studies and Phase 2 where they can apply for between €0.5 and €2.5 million for demonstration, testing, piloting and scaling up.
