This lecture series is organised in co-operation with the European IP Helpdesk and addresses the IP-related aspects of EU-funded projects in five areas. It introduces the main aspects of IP management, notably ownership, protection and exploitation.
The series comprises a total of five lectures. Each lecture explores the interface between patents and a particular technical field. While the main target are EU funding beneficiaries of any kind, the lectures may be of interest to a variety of audiences, from researchers to technology transfer officers and are open to anybody.

Each lecture begins with a short introduction on the relevance of patent-related questions for EU funding beneficiaries and concludes with a Q&A section. The lectures are complemented with optional learning materials for self-paced study. Participants can attend individual lectures or the whole series.
