An experienced Slovak IT company dealing with telematics solutions, offers the devices for the internet of things (IoT). Their IoT devices with autonomous low power consumption and wireless data transmission enables companies to collect and transmit the data from the existing gas, water, electricity, heat meters and other installed equipment such as pumps, engines, sensors etc. The company is looking for technical agreement and commercial agreement with technical assistance.
A new Slovak SME is working in the ICT sector and especially in telematics. The company was established in 2020 with the aim of providing specialized advanced technology services both to private and public sectors. The company offers own produced smart ultrasonic gas meters, smart electricity meters, smart water meters and smart sensors.
The meters and sensors use a range of narrowband technologies, including narrowband-IoT, 5G narrowband, LoRaWAN and IoT satellite network. These are technologies for wireless connections that allow communication at long distances combined with low-energy consumption. The selection of the specific mentioned technologies allows the user to connect remotely to the meter almost everywhere that the GSM network covers or even further. The IoT satellite network allows to collect and transmit data in hard-to-reach areas where there is no GSM coverage. Each meter and sensor is autonomous with its own. The meters can measure the gas, electricity, water usage locally via a traditional meter, or remotely from a control centre. The meters are tamper-proof and have automatic system alerts for a variety of events such as tampering, reverse gas-water-flow, etc. In addition to the hardware, the Slovak company has also developed a complete software suite for receiving the information transmitted by the meters and sensors and interacting with them. This includes a web-based monitoring and control system through a web-browser, in a map capable of displaying mettedifferent layers of information. Additionally, a smart city platform API's (application programming interface) - the use of third-party web services and sites as part of new application development is available for integration into an existing smart city platform. This platform can be the one offered by the Slovak company or another offered by a 3rd party. The control system provides alarm notifications for leakage, tampering, reverse flow events. Segmenting and grouping stations by region, supply pipeline and type is easy with this system.
The Slovak company is offering for the integration companies dealing with the management of the gas, electricity, water, heat networks for technical collaboration. The Slovak company will supply any part of the platform, the sensors, meters required, or the control suite and the partner could provide this equipment to their customers under a commercial agreement with technical assistance or technical cooperation agreement.
Alternatively, Slovak company will provide integration with customer’s system and customisation of their products according to customer’s demands or will develop the new devices and solutions.
- Specific area of activity of the partner: The Slovak company is looking for two types of partners under commercial agreement with technical assistance and technical cooperation agreement.
First, integration companies dealing with the management of the gas, electricity, water, heat networks for technical collaboration. Alternatively, companies procuring smart grids with technological equipment for commercial agreement with technical assistance.
A second type of partner sought is for companies that deliver technical equipment to utilities and integrators. In this case, the Slovak company will supply any part of the platform, the sensors, meters required, or the control suite and the partner could provide this equipment to their customers.
The Slovak company provides the devices for the IoT. These devices are using in various fields of industry, utilities and automation for remote data collection and transmission via long range wide area networks (LoRaWAN) / narrow band-IoT (NB IoT) grids or IoT satellite networks. This energy efficient devices allow to collect data in autonomous mode from exiting meters and sensors which placed in hard-to-reach places, where traditional way of data collection by wire or by GSM doesn’t work or difficult. The lifecycle of these devices from internal battery is more than 5-10 years.
The company offers customized hardware/ firmware design of its products for smart city and smart metering solutions according to customer’s demands. It offers also integration of its solution to existing customer’s system or platform.
