In today’s global economy, intellectual property (IP) plays a crucial role in helping businesses expand beyond their domestic markets. For small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), effective IP management, protection, and enforcement are essential to safeguarding innovations, maintaining a competitive edge, and minimising risks when entering new markets.
This webinar, designed for European Business Organizations (EBOs) and their members worldwide, will introduce the EC IP SME Helpdesk, a European Commission initiative providing free, first-line support to European SMEs on IP-related matters. The session will cover the resources and advisory services available to SMEs as they navigate IP challenges in Europe, China, India, Latin America, South-East Asia, and Africa. Additionally, insights will be shared on how the European IP Helpdesk supports SMEs and researchers involved in EU-funded research and innovation projects.
