The Market Access Day will take place at the Clayton Hotel in Ballsbridge and will commence with registration and tea/coffee at 9am.

The event will be opened by Minister of State for Trade Promotion, Artificial Intelligence and Digital Transformation, Niamh Smyth. The EU Chief Trade Enforcement Officer, Denis Redonnet, will also deliver a keynote address to the audience. 

Topics will include:

• Implementation and enforcement of EU trade policy and its benefits for Irish businesses
• Available tools for business looking to export outside the EU Single Market
• EU trade policy instruments (Access to Markets and Single-Entry Point)
• Trade barriers and solutions
• Trade policy in the changing geopolitics
• EU Free Trade Agreements and their concrete benefits to companies
• Trade defence instruments 

The Market Access Day is aimed towards companies who may be first-time exporters, companies that may not have operated outside the EU market previously, or those who have encountered trade barriers.
